If you have not yet had the pleasure of experiencing the relatively new Community Q BBQ joint in Decatur, here is some incentive:
1. The food is delicious. Even you Fox Bros. snobs will enjoy it.
2. The owners are not pretentious and will probably be the ones who serve your plate and pick up your trash.
3. The owners and staff are extremely friendly AND generous. In fact, they have offered to donate all of their tips for an entire week beginning this Wednesday, March 10th through next Wednesday, March 17th, to help start a children’s library in Swaziland.
4. In addition to donating all of their tips during this time period, they will also exchange a free side item for a new or used book. (Green Eggs and Ham = life-changing mac-n-cheese!) The types of books needed are: baby board boards, children’s fiction and non-fiction, young adult chapter books, atlases, dictionaries, text books (elementary-high school aged). Essentially any book that has content appropriate for children is welcomed.
So even if you don’t have a book to donate, visit The Q anytime between 3/10 and 3/17 and all of your tips will be used to purchase the books needed for a children’s library in Swaziland. Who knew humanitarian efforts could be so.. effortless?

Rejected pornstar? Transformers supporting acress stand in? TI Fluffer? Who knows. What I do know is that Megan Foxxx is a growing DJ from Atlanta that is making a name for himself with the fierceness. Once a young man called Daniel Disaster, had then fallen in to the depths of hell emerging in his new form as Megan Foxxx. Working at the studio of Grand Hustle, he only furthers his career and exclusive remixes in tackling the game. Keep an eye on this one, he’ll have necks snapped from whiplash, be the cause of a rise in single mother statistics, and maybe even stab you in the jugular on the way to top.

Spring fever is everywhere and with it comes the anticipation of all the hot new warm trends that will hit the stores. The hottest got-to-have item in my spring wardrobe is definitely the super sexy and fun peep-toe boots. I will be racking up on as many different colors and styles as possible…and thankfully, designers have been so creative in crafting out these shoes this year that the selection is endless! Peep-toe boots can be worn with basically any form of outfit- casual, trendy, dressy, or classy.
The great thing about these boots is that it’s a good transition style from winter to spring. You know for the last month or so we’ve wanted to rock some new kicks, but it’s still just a little too cold to break out the sandals so this is the perfect solution! It’s a boot, but it shows just enough toe that it completely changes the feel and direction of the shoe from warm and winter to sexy and spring! Peep-toe boots still have a classy vintage feel which is what the past few seasons, fashion-wise, have been all about. Plus it’s guaranteed that this boot trend is a great bargain because they can be worn in the fall just as easily as in the spring.
The length of the boot also determines what type of outfits will look best paired with them. With the ankle boot you can wear anything from skinny jeans, a fun dress, or even stylish shorts or leggings. You can move higher to boots that stop along the mid-calf which are such a hit these days if you are going for the rocker look with ripped jeans or an old school dress or romper. You can also sport the boots that stop at the knee (or the above-the-knee boots which were a huge winter hit). My personal opinion is that the above-the-knee boots should be kept with the winter wardrobe, but there may be some cute exceptions! If you are looking for a fun and fresh change to your look, then this is my suggestion for a great buy this season, so keep an eye out for online stores or boutiques to start carrying this new style in footwear for spring.
