Time flies when you are having fun, right?  Seems like this year has come and gone so fast with doing HEAVY.  I'm glad that we could send HEAVY out on it's way proper!  We certainly showed that we can still blow it out in a new venue and bring out the people that have enjoyed what we created day one.  My thanks go out to everyone that has supported this event and all the events I have been involved in.  There will certainly be more to come and a new monster will soon be born.  PARTY HARD ATL!

We were a member short this month, but not a supporter less. Thanks to all the homies that came out this month of HEAVY and checked out the new addition of the basement added to Graveyard. Next month will be our 1 Year Anniversary and we are going all out for this one. Big talent, holding it down in the basement (literally), and raging harder than we have raged before. Don't miss this month's HEAVY. Details soon to come.

HEAVY :: Born in Sin

It's so HEAVY. This past month we brought up one of our homies from Miami, Damaged Goods. Damaged Goods has started on a Dubstep project and going under the name, Caligula. With a great mix of some dancey electro, along with the heavy hitting dubstep, the crowd kept the energy going all night. If you didn't get to check out the promo video for this month....Enjoy. It's snowing for christmas.

HEAVY 10.23.10

It's so HEAVY. We laid it out this past weekend with Megan Foxxx and Mayhem at the head of the wheel. Thanks to Kryptonite for kickin the night off and J Kap for giving us a Live performance.  Water guns full of alcohol, costumes, blatant signage, 40's, and scandal.  That's how a Heavy party gets down.

A little bit softer now

I guess this has been kind of a chilled out week. I've been listening to some tracks with a bit of a lighter side to them. The first one comes to you from the man they call 12th Planet, and although this track isn't soft by any means, it's a lot more chilled out than most of the dubstep i post, and most of the tunes he produces. Check out his remix of Hold On by Rusko.
Rusko - Hold On (12th Planet Remix) The second one i've got for you is from Tek-One, another name that is not usually associated with a more laid back style of dubstep. Definitely some deep vibes on this one with a nice house/trance feel and a catchy vocal. Check it out. Break Me Down (Alternate Version) - Tek-One [audio:http://www.ohsnapkid.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/07/Break-Me-Down-Alternate-Version.mp3|titles=Break Me Down (Alternate Version) - Tek-One] Finally, do yourself a favor and head over to mind your (dub)step blog and download Skream's essential mix.

It gets so HEAVY

Round 3 came out with the fierceness this month.  Our boys threw out the HEAVIEST bass this city has ever seen.  Pretty sure these basslines are knocking the teeth out of people.

Long time no bass

CyberGeisha I know, I've been gone for a while, so instead of talking about anything i'm just gonna hit you all with a few heaters that are definitely worth your time to download.
First we have Geisha by Cyberoptix, i'm not sure what to say about this tune except that the drop is pretty un-expected. You're just gonna floating along on an asian river, and then you get punched in the face! Cyberoptix - Geisha
Next up we have Ashburner and Goli's take on the Fatboy Slim classic Renegade Master Ashburner & Goli - Renegade Master 2010
Finally, Chase and Status have been working with a lot of artist outside the dubstep scene lately. They recently sold a beat to Rhianna, and now they've put together this monster and had Dizzee Rascal lay some vocals over it. Enjoy! Chase & Status feat. Dizzee Rascal - Heavy
