See You When The Sun Sets

I've been listening to the bare remix off this release all day, and it made me decide it was time to start posting again. If you like it as much as I do, check out the full EP on Beatport

What is Bukez Finezt?

I have no clue what the name means, but one thing is for sure, he makes some damn good tunes. His latest release Hey/Buckshot dropped about a month ago, and both tracks are pure fire, you can stream them below. A little bit softer now

I guess this has been kind of a chilled out week. I've been listening to some tracks with a bit of a lighter side to them. The first one comes to you from the man they call 12th Planet, and although this track isn't soft by any means, it's a lot more chilled out than most of the dubstep i post, and most of the tunes he produces. Check out his remix of Hold On by Rusko.
Rusko - Hold On (12th Planet Remix) The second one i've got for you is from Tek-One, another name that is not usually associated with a more laid back style of dubstep. Definitely some deep vibes on this one with a nice house/trance feel and a catchy vocal. Check it out. Break Me Down (Alternate Version) - Tek-One [audio:http://www.ohsnapkid.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/07/Break-Me-Down-Alternate-Version.mp3|titles=Break Me Down (Alternate Version) - Tek-One] Finally, do yourself a favor and head over to mind your (dub)step blog and download Skream's essential mix.

Long time no bass

CyberGeisha I know, I've been gone for a while, so instead of talking about anything i'm just gonna hit you all with a few heaters that are definitely worth your time to download.
First we have Geisha by Cyberoptix, i'm not sure what to say about this tune except that the drop is pretty un-expected. You're just gonna floating along on an asian river, and then you get punched in the face! Cyberoptix - Geisha
Next up we have Ashburner and Goli's take on the Fatboy Slim classic Renegade Master Ashburner & Goli - Renegade Master 2010
Finally, Chase and Status have been working with a lot of artist outside the dubstep scene lately. They recently sold a beat to Rhianna, and now they've put together this monster and had Dizzee Rascal lay some vocals over it. Enjoy! Chase & Status feat. Dizzee Rascal - Heavy

The Bass Train

I bring to you today, the man named Trolley Snatcha. He produces and DJs with the Dub Police Crew and has been destroying dance floors all over Europe with his hard hitting bass. His style is filthy, grimey and wobbly. Take a look at the insanity he induces on the dance floor, just fast forward to about 2:40 when he drops in Got 2 Know by Flux Pavillion.

Not only can he work a crowd, but he also turns out some monster tunes, like Shake It or one of my personal favorites. We Rock The Forest
Check him out on Myspace and Facebook, or follow him on Twitter
Finally, don't sleep on 12th Planet tomorrow at HEAVY in East Atlanta. He's sure to have a ton of dubplates mixed in with some of the classics!

Big In The Game

One of the biggest producers in the dubstep game right now is 21 year old Joker. He hails from Easton, Bristol, UK, and began producing at the age of 13. DJs have been destroying dance floors with this tunes for years, and this is just one of the latest in a long line of bangers! With it's catchy synth line and rolling bass, it's hard to resist the charms of this track. Take a listen to Tron by Joker. [kml_flashembed movie="http://www.youtube.com/v/apNEpSyzzWU" width="425" height="344" allowfullscreen="true" fvars="fs=1" /] Not only is Joker killing it on the production side, but he's also been banging out some massive remixes. He turned out this rework of Simian Mobile Disco's Cruel Intentions (feat Beth Ditto). You'll recognize the same futuristic synth sounds that make many of Joker's tracks so easy to pick out. Cruel Intentions (Joker Remix) Be sure to check him on on myspace and twitter

I want the Bass

What's up everybody. I was pretty stoked when Ryan asked me to start posting for his blog, so here's a quick intro. I'll be posting mainly about Bass heavy music (dubstep, bassline, etc) with a few other random bits here and there that catch my ears. A producer that's turning out consistent bangers right now is FuntCase. He's got a dub kicking around that he worked with DatsiK on and it's just a huge fucking tune. [kml_flashembed movie="http://www.youtube.com/v/TwpXFqkBZYA" width="425" height="344" allowfullscreen="true" fvars="fs=1" /] Of course this track is under tight lock and key, so here's a few of his older tunes for you to enjoy when you are away from a computer.
