Family Jewels is another solid release from UK indie power house Neon Gold Beat. Marina’s voice is pitch perfect on every track, the acoustic version of I am not a robot is a perfect track for getting some work in around the house or just chilling, while the Russ Chimes rework of “Mowgli’s Road” is total rage. Heres a nice little trancey disco-pop tune inspired by The-Dream’s awesome “Rockin That Thang” from one of my secret obsessions Telephoned, the duo of Maggie Horn and Sammy Bananas. Fool’s Gold will be releasing their self-titled debut EP on January 19 with a mixtape to follow. This collaboration began with a sorta-cover of T-Pain’s “Can’t Believe It”, and they’ve continued their Telephone-game-like partnership with hits such as Turn My Swag on and Pop Champagne. I cant wait for the EP and mixtape. Enjoy the download below.
Not Like All the Girls Before

I’m not sure how many of you know this, but I have a huge soft spot in my heart for UK pop and Ellie Goulding is pretty much at the center of said soft spot. For those of you who are unfamiliar Miss Goulding’s enchanting voice or Starsmith’s complex soundscapes, I’m going to need you to catch up. I know just a year ago the masses where praising La Roux and Little Boots going on about how they are the future; the masses just may have been wrong, check out Ellie’s video for her lead single ” Under the Sheets “ and you be the judge. And just because we here at OSK love you all so much be sure to check out the free downloads after the jump. I decided to keep it short for my first but be sure to stay tuned for all the Dubstep, Grime, Electro, disco and other nonsense we use to fuel us on the dance floor.
