The SNOOD-Fall's Fashionable AND Functional Accessory
Every season we see these fun trends coming and going that catch our eye for the moment. They may look oh so fashionable but not often enough do those passing trends have functionality and usefulness. I do believe, ladies and gents, that I found a stylish new accessory for this fall and winter that will have both girls and guys wondering where to find one of our sweet new accessories. And if all goes the way I’m thinking, you may be wearing ‘em for more than just this holiday season. You will be breaking these out for cold winters and chilly falls for years to come! Trends with longevity…who woulda thought??
So they call this thing a “snoodâ€. I’ve heard they are calling it this because it’s a cross between a scarf and a hood, although I have no clue where the “n†came from. A snood is essentially a scarf that is a big circle (instead of one long piece). You can
find them to be really big where you can wrap them a few times around your neck/chest/head. I’ve also seen them smaller where you just fit it over your head once. I own one of the smaller snoods and it is so wearable and comfy…not to mention very VERY useful. I’ve worn it as more of a scarf, but when the temperature drops a little more I’m definitely going to try out the hood typeof style. The runway was a fan of the snood this year but I do believe it is seeping down to the local stores where we can fit them in our budget. I bought mine at Forever 21 for $5.50!!! Take that Burberry!
