Kickin it with GREG.MIKE

I'd like to introduce local artist and designer, Greg Mike.  I met GM about a year or so ago working for Carpe Denim and Trafik Tradeshow.  Emerging from street art, then fine tuning his skills in art school in Florida, and finally flossin his steez with a platinum list of clients and making time for his personal work. After about a 8 months of brainstorming and preparing, GM put together a series of pieces called "Popstars & Cokeheads".  The series consists of several soda cans and and three foot tall storage cans, and few other mediums. We stopped by to get a sneak peek with GM before I jet off to San Fran to showcase his show at the Medicine Agency Gallery.  There will be another show in Atlanta and one in New York City later in the spring.  Be sure to give this guy a look at support his work.  He even has beer coozies! OH SNAP! We got OSK 2.0

Well it has finally happened and after two and a half years I have FINALLY taken the time to put together a new site... with the help of my web guy, Mr. Darby, which made all this possible. I'll keep it short and just highlight all the changes.

Not Like All the Girls Before

I'm not sure how many of you know this, but I have a huge soft spot in my heart for UK pop and Ellie Goulding is pretty much at the center of said soft spot. For those of you who are unfamiliar Miss Goulding's enchanting voice or Starsmith's complex soundscapes,  I'm going to need you to catch up.  I know just a year ago the masses where praising La Roux and Little Boots going on about how they are the future;  the masses just may have been wrong, check out Ellie's video for her lead single " Under the Sheets " and you be the judge. The SNOOD-Fall's Fashionable AND Functional Accessory

Trip to Los Angeles

So I'm back home how after a quick week on the West Coast and got to run through some of the biggest parties in Los Angeles.  I got in on Tuesday and made way over to 1107's weekly party called Dance held at the Arena. Amazing event and also their 2 year anniversary.  The next stop for the week was a party called Milk & Honey. I would like to thank my friend Magnum XL to let me take over the booth while he ran off to DJ at another event.  Fun party, promoters were super chill, but any venue that doesn't allow my tank top obsession needs to check their shit.  I lastly finished up my week of work at The Heist. My friend Hyphy Crunk invited me to come document the event for their new move to a club in downtown L.A.  Awesome party and glad it was the last night.  Mark and his tequila could shorten a person's life.  I got to finish up my week chillin with Paparazzi and taking in some much needed a rest.  One of the best kids I know for sure.

Zombie Bash Block Party for Halloween

Halo put together a block party for Halloween consisting of Halo, The Biltmore, and Cypress Lounge with over 10 DJ's banging out the jams all night long.  I put together two photobooths so be sure to check out the pics!
